Chrism Mass

All clergy are encouraged and welcomed to attend this celebration of Holy Eucharist with Reaffirmation of Ordination Vows and Blessing of Holy Oils. In the midst of a busy Holy Week it is a privilege to come together for a time of prayer. The Rt. Rev. Lawrence C. Provenzano, Bishop Provenzano, will preside and preach.

Vesting begins at 10 am at the Mercer School. Vested clergy will leave Mercer at 10:50 am sharp, and will then line up outside the Cathedral at the direction of the vergers. Clergy are invited to a luncheon at the Mercer School following the liturgy. Holy oils have been prepared for each parish and can be picked up in the Mercer Chapel.
