Join us for a special Evensong for All Saints Day at the Cathedral of the Incarnation on Sunday, November 3rd, at 4 PM. This beautiful choral service, featuring music under the direction of Canon Lawrence M. Tremsky, Canon Musician, will include the presentation of the portrait of the Eighth Bishop of Long Island, The Rt. Rev. Lawrence C. Provenzano. The event will be live-streamed for those unable to attend in person.

Music sung by the Cathedral Choir will include the Magnificat & Nunc dimittis in G by Herbert Sumsion and the anthem And I saw a new heaven by Edgar Bainton. The Evensong will also feature the first performance of a new setting of the Preces & Responses composed by Canon Tremsky. This work is based on the music of the Ukrainian composer Mykola Leontovych, and was mostly written in Lviv, Ukraine this past summer.

All are welcome to attend, and a light reception will follow the service.

Clergy are invited to vest. Vesting clergy are asked to wear a cassock, surplice, tippet and academic hood. Those who wish to process should be at the Cathedral and vested no later than 3:45pm. All clergy are asked to register using the link below.
