Dr. Heather Huyck is a board member of Episcopal Women’s History Project and as an historian, is deeply involved in the work of celebrating women’s ordination in the Episcopal Church. Dr. Huyck was a local organizer for the affirmation of women’s ordination and was present at the 1974 ordination in Philadelphia and the Minnesota 1976 General Convention when the ordination of women passed both houses. She got to know Jeannette Piccard and Alla  Bozarth Campbell, two of the first women ordained. She is also the author of Doing Women's History in Public: A Handbook for Interpretation at Museums and Historic Sites and To Celebrate a Whole Priesthood: The Ordination of Women to the Episcopal Priesthood

Join us for a time of storytelling and reflection on where we have been and what we’ve learned along the way. Lay and ordained people welcome!
