We are pleased to announce that Deacon John Musco and Shannon Whittaker will be hosting a virtual Introduction to Education for Ministry (EfM) Workshop on Saturday, August 17, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

Are you looking to deepen your faith and explore your spiritual callings? Education for Ministry (EfM), offered by the School of Theology at the University of the South, is a unique program designed for lay people like you who seek spiritual growth and development.

EfM provides a rich, four-year curriculum, but participants commit to one year at a time, making it accessible and manageable. Groups are formed locally, often within your church community, and meet weekly from September to June. These small groups, led by trained and certified mentors, offer a safe and nurturing environment where trust and love flourish.

In an EfM group, you'll dive deeper than traditional Bible study. You'll engage in meaningful discussions, reflection, and collaboration, which will help you uncover and understand your personal ministry in the world. Together, you'll discover God's gifts and learn how to share them with others. During the workshop, we will also be engaging in Theological Reflections (TRs), which are integral to the EfM program and help in connecting our faith to daily life.
