Passiontide Concert - The Crucifixion by John Stainer

A devotional offering of Sir John Stainer's popular oratorio, by the choir of St. John's of Lattingtown, during the season of Passiontide; guest singers from other local churches will also be participating. St. John's has, in recent years, offered special music on Palm Sunday, drawing a collected congregation from the North Shore. Stainer's oratorio narrates the Biblical narrative of the Passion and Crucifixion and has been performed continually across the world since 1887.
