Shift: 10am – 4pm Monday/Wednesday/Friday (1hr lunch)
Salary: $20,000
Position Summary: In this role, the successful candidate will report directly to the Priest-in-Charge with a dotted line to the Wardens. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing various administrative activities during the day-to-day operations.
Job Description:
Provides administrative support to the PIC, Wardens, Vestry and church committees, including preparing meeting documents or posting minutes, making document copies, sending out mailings, etc.
Works directly with the PIC to prepare the bulletins and worship material for Sunday and weekday services; prepares the weekly announcements for the bulletins.
Coordinates the day-to-day activities of the office including but not limited to the ordering of supplies with approval; preparing vendor invoices; circulating correspondence between Diocese and parish.
Maintains PIC and church schedule and activity; screens and handles telephone communications; sorts incoming and outgoing correspondence; report pastoral care concerns to PIC.
Gathers, enters, and updates data to maintain church records and membership databases, as appropriate; establishes and maintains files and records for the office.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor s Degree with 2 years of relevant experience. Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills.
Solid computer skills, including MS Office Suite and Google. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with The Episcopal Church and databases
