The Rev. Carl Adair, Assistant Rector of Zion Episcopal Church in Douglaston, and Will Spisak, a Zion parishioner and shareholder of the Glen Oaks Village co-op, have published an opinion piece in City Limits, advocating for a proposed housing project at the Creedmoor site in Queens Village, Queens.

In the article, Adair and Spisak endorsed the plan, seeing it as an "Opportunity for a new generation of New Yorkers to make a home and leave a legacy for their children and grandchildren... a chance to stand up for people just like our parents and grandparents—who struggled bravely to make a life and a future for their families."

The article further discusses how the proposed housing project can address affordable housing needs, alleviate concerns about neighborhood density, and highlight the historical significance of housing subsidies in ensuring stable communities for working families and vulnerable populations.
