The Rev. Steven Paulikas, rector of All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Park Slope, Brooklyn, was recently quoted in Newsday by Bart Jones, speaking out against President Donald Trump’s suspension of a refugee resettlement program. The decision has left around 10,000 vetted and approved refugees in limbo, sparking outrage among faith leaders and advocates.
“It is incredibly heartbreaking,” Fr. Paulikas said of the suspension. “It’s distressing. And it’s anti-American to cancel the refugee program.”
