Dear Sisters and Brothers,

We regret to inform you that the Venerable Canon Jerome J. Nedelka, a retired priest of the Diocese of Long Island, has died. Canon Nedelka died on Sunday, December 8, following a brief hospitalization. 

Ordained to the priesthood in December 1965 by Bishop Jonathan Goodhue Sherman, his long ministry in the diocese included service at All Saints’ Church, Bayside and St. Mark’s, Islip. He also served as Archdeacon of Suffolk for many years.
