Ancilla has lived her life by the closing statement of the Episcopal / Anglican Church: "Go in peace to love and serve the Lord," and has responded "Thanks be to God." Ancilla has been a lifelong member of the Anglican-Episcopal Communion.  

When called upon, she is ready to facilitate a UTO Presentation. She has served as the Book of Remembrance Chairperson for Brooklyn, and the Co-Chairperson of the Nominating Committee. Ancilla is the treasurer of the Brooklyn ECW, as well as a committee member of the Adopt -A- Family program for the St. John's ICARE Foundation, LLC.

Ancilla has been a member of St. Paul's Church-in-the-Village of Flatbush, located in Brooklyn, for over 40 years. As an active parishioner, she serves as President of the ECW, Church School Teacher, Hospitality Committee member, Co-Chairperson of the Parish Council, and Girl Scout Leader. In her community she is a member of Community Board District 18, Executive Member of Council of St. Vincent and the Grenadines Organizations, U.S.A, Inc., and a member of New York Mayor Eric Adams’ Caribbean Advisory Committee.

A retired Broker and Marketing Representative in the Health Insurance industry, with advanced degrees in Health Administration and Community Health, Ancilla now works as the Assistant Director of an Older Adult Center in Bergen Beach, Brooklyn.

Along with her sister, brother, and their families, Ancilla is a caregiver for her elderly father. She enjoys time out with her husband, two daughters, and cherished granddaughter.
