A native of Ohio, he received degrees from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and Northwestern University. He has held church positions at Holy Name Cathedral (RC) in Chicago, where he worked in assisting the noted composer Richard Proulx, and Grace Episcopal Church, Utica, NY before coming to Garden City.
