Irene’s passion for the environment started over three decades ago when she created a series of environmental walks with RFK, JR– who was, at that time, executive director of Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC).
A public relations consultant, she is part of the Creation Care Communications sub-team where she puts her skills to use on editorial and social media projects. She is a parishioner of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Islip where she’s active in various ministries.
