The St. Nick Fridge is a joint ministry of Iglesia de la Santa Cruz, Bushwick Abbey, and Mayday Space that emerged out of a shared desire to address food insecurity in our neighborhood during the pandemic. The fridge is open 24/7 to anyone in the community who wants to pick up or drop off food. We receive donations from local restaurants, food banks, and individuals. Neighborhood volunteers stock, clean, and solicit donations for the fridge that feeds up to ninety households a week.
